We are committed to providing a personal service to all our customers and even have account handlers who will be personally responsible for the handling of individual policies. We will carry out a full review of your existing charity insurance and identify any potential gaps in cover you may have.
We are always happy to come and visit prospective customers to establish your requirements and gather information to be able to obtain competitive quotations for you. In addition, we can also visit existing customers to discuss renewal and any issues that you may come up against during the year.

Our History in the third sector
Endsleigh has been working with a wide spectrum of charities and voluntary organisations for over 30 years. Our customers range from small volunteer groups to large national organisations. In the past 10 years our knowledge and expertise has grown dramatically as we have become focused on being specialists in the field of charity insurance. Our mission is to act as a springboard to our customers, becoming their back up and helping them towards success. Working in partnership with the Association of Charity Shops and BASSAC, we are dedicated to supporting our customers.
Endsleigh was formed in 1965 to provide a fresh approach to insurance, and the company’s origins with the National Union of Students gave an early boost to its development. Working with leading insurance carriers, Endsleigh aimed to offer an insurance service to match the exact requirements of its clients, something that we continue to do today. We are a highly reputable company, regulated by the Financial Services Authority, for which our registration number is 304331.
Endsleigh has grown dramatically since its formation and in recent years all the major sites in and around Cheltenham have moved to an impressive location on the outskirts of town, between Cheltenham and Gloucester. This Head Office complex at “Endsleigh Park” currently houses over 500 staff, including our Charity Insurance Team.
Although the original business concentrated on the personal insurance needs of individuals, almost as soon as the company formed, Endsleigh also began to attract commercial insurance clients, in addition to its mainstream business. By 1985, this commercial business had grown to a level which, required specialist service. This service has grown significantly, and successfully, in the twenty years since and so too has Endsleigh Business’s dedicated team of specialists. Now we have a committed charity team with years of specialist charity insurance experience who are ready to help.
