Commercial property insurance cover options.  

We understand that insurance needs vary from landlord to landlord; we are able to offer you a range of options to ensure that you have the level of cover to meet your individual circumstances and budget.

Blocks of flats.
Endsleigh can provide cover for a wide range of flats whether their solely residential or part of a mixed use block.

Landlord liability insurance.
Property owner’s liability insurance covers the owner of a building or land in the event of a third party claiming against you for your negligence resulting in injury or property damage.

Public liability insurance will also provide protection for any legal fees, costs and expenses incurred. It also covers bills for medical treatment that the NHS may choose to file against you.   We provide cover as standard at £2m with the option to upgrade if needed.

Loss of rent.
This Optional cover  gives you financial protection in the event your property becomes uninhabitable due to damage by an insured peril. We can pay up to 20% of the buildings sum insured for loss of rent on the property. With this cover in place, it means that you will not be out of pocket whilst the repairs to your property are being made.

Unoccupied property insurance.
We understand that there will be times when your commercial property will be unoccupied, so we can offer bespoke cover available for long term unoccupied properties and properties undergoing structural alteration to make sure you still have peace of mind that your property is covered.

Employers’ liability insurance.
You may be required to have this cover by law if your business employs staff for example, cleaners, gardeners, caretakers or tradesmen carrying out minor maintenance. You will be covered for £10m as standard.

Landlord buildings insurance.
The insurer will pay for damage to the property as a result of an insured peril such as fire, lightening, explosion, aircraft and theft.

Landlord contents insurance.
Cover for carpets, appliances, household goods, furnishings. 

Accidental damage insurance.
Covers’ the repairs to your property caused by accidental damage caused by tenants, including accidental breakage of fixed glass, sanitary fixtures and accidental damage to underground services.

Full accidental damage cover.
You can upgrade your buildings and contents cover to include any accidental damage or loss in the property.

Terrorism cover.
Available on request this protects against damage to your premises from acts of terrorism.

Legal cover.
We automatically include legal protection to recover rent, help eviction of squatters, or defend legal rights up to a maximum of £25,000. You can upgrade this cover to provide higher limits and wider cover.

Subsidence.
Cover against damage to your premises due to subsidence, ground heave or landslip.
